AS Monaco claimed a second successive win in Ligue 1 after thumping Saint-Etienne 4-0 on Friday evening.
Djibril Sidibe opened the scoring after just three minutes before Thomas Lemar doubled the lead on 32 minutes.
Fabinho bagged the champions third goal after 53 minutes before Keita Balde rounded off the scoring seven minutes later.
Borussia Monchengladbach 3-1 Hamburg
Borussia Monchengladbach moved into the top four in the Bundesliga standings after recording a 3-1 win over Hamburg on Friday evening.
Thorgan Hazard put the home side ahead in the ninth minute before André Hahn drew Hamburg level on 53 minutes.
Raffael bagged a quick-fire brace with strikes in the 74th and 79th minute to sealed the victory for Gladbach.
Sevilla 0-0 Levante
Sevilla missed the chance to move level on points with Real Madrid after they were held to a goalless draw by Levante.
As a result, Sevilla remain in fifth spot, two points behind Los Blancos, who occupy fourth position.
