The son of Manchester United legend David Beckham has signed his first professional contract.
Romeo Beckham is aiming to follow in his father's footsteps after signing a deal in the United States this week.
According to the various reports in England, the 19-year-old has signed his first professional deal with USL League One side Fort Lauderdale.
Fort Lauderdale currently operates as the reserve team for Beckham's Major League Soccer franchise Inter Miami who were established in 2020.
Romeo seemingly confirmed the news on his Instagram account, with the player changing his bio to 'Footballer for @fortlauderdalecf.'
The 19-year-old has already trained with the Inter Miami first and he will join the son of former Red Devils star Philipp Neville who also joined the USL League One side.
Neville is the current head coach of the MLS side, who find themselves in 11th spot in the Eastern Conference standings after 20 matches.
