Date: 4 February 2016

Mali booked their place in the CHAN 2016 final with a 1-0 victory over Ivory Coast on Thursday afternoon.
The Ivorians came within inches of taking the lead in the 10th minute when Essis Aka unleashed a long-range shot at goal, but it crashed into the post instead.
The Elephants came close again shortly thereafter. Mali struggled to clear their lines at the far post following a free kick, but in the end they managed to get it away from danger.
Mali were gifted with their best chance in the 32nd minute as they were awarded a penalty after Comara handled the ball in the box. However, Coulibaly's spot-kick was brilliantly tipped over the bar by Badra.
The Eagles had two big opportunities just before the hour mark. Abdoulaye Diarra saw his long-range effort blocked before Sissoko suffered the same fate with his strike from outside the box.
With stoppage time looming, Mali found their winner in the 89th minute. Bissouma powered his way in the Ivory Coast box and beat his man before finishing from close range to secure the final berth.
Mali will face DR Congo in the final.
