Sixteen-year-old Vinicius Junior is apparently set to join Real Madrid. The striker made the headlines at the U17 South American Championship, where his seven goals helped Brazil lift the title.
It has been reported that the teenager will join Real in a deal worth €43 million, although his transfer can only be completed once he turns 18 in 2018.
Another youngster with a great future is centre back Marlon. The 21-year-old joined FC Barcelona’s B side from Fluminense at the beginning of the season, and made his full La Liga debut for the Catalan giants on Sunday.
Gabriel Barbosa is another Brazilian who seemed destined for greatness but his career has seen a dip this season. The 20-year-old joined Inter Milan after helping Brazil to their first ever Olympic gold medal, but has been in and out of the squad in Italy.
Overall, Barbosa has played only 183 minutes in 10 appearances for the Nerazzurri, scoring just once in the process.
Other names in the gallery published by AS include Malcolm, Gerson and Lucas Evangelista.
