Brazil Announce Squad For Upcoming Friendlies, Six Stars Miss Out

Brazil have announced their squad for their upcoming international friendlies next month, and a few big names were left out.

Selecao will be looking to put the disappointment of the 2018 World Cup behind them as they begin preparations for the Copa America.

The five-time World Champions will face United States and El Salvador in New Jersey and Washington next month.

Manchester City quartet Ederson, Danilo, Gabriel Jesus and Fernandinho have been left out along with Marcelo.

Full squad:

Goalkeeper: Alisson, Hugo, Neto.
 
Defenders: T. Silva, Marquinhos, Dede, Felipe, F. Luis, A. Sandro, Fabinho, Fagner.
 
Midfielders: Casemiro, Fred, Arthur, Lucas Pacqueta, Renato Augusto, Andreas Pereira, Coutinho.
 
Forwards: Neymar, Willian, Firmino, D. Costa, Everton, Pedro.
