Atletico Madrid were crowned winners of the 2017 Audi Cup, after they defeated Liverpool 5-4 on penalties on Wednesday evening.

Liverpool carved out a chance after 76 minutes as Divock Origi gained possession in the box, but fired into the side-netting.

The Reds were then awarded a penalty in the 83rd minute when Origi was brought down by Gabi. Roberto Firmino stepped up and converted the spot-kick.
