African Star Calls For Video Tech To Identify Racist Fans

An African star, who is currently playing in the Bundesliga, has called for video technology to be used for identifying racist fans in the crowd.
Former Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has been the victim of racial abuse before while playing for AC Milan.
The midfielder has now called for video technology to be used to find fans making racist chants and throw them out of the stadium.
"We are in the year 2017 and we have still not found a way to do it," Boateng told Focus.
"Why do we not use the technology so that every racist is identified, kicked out and never returned to the stadium?"
"We have goal-line technology and video evidence that says [against Wolfsburg in August] that Boateng was offside and the penalty was not given.'"
Last season, Boateng's former Black Stars teammate Sulley Muntari walked off the pitch after he was racially abused while playing for Pescara in Serie A
