Reigning world champions Germany secured their spot at the 2018 World Cup after defeating Northern Ireland 3-1 at Windsor Park.
Sebastian Rudy opened the scoring for Joachim Löw's charges in the second minute with a stunning strike from 25-yards that found the top corner, 0-1.
Hoffenheim striker Sandro Wagner extended the lead for Die Mannschaft in the 21st minute after turning one defender and sending a strike into the top corner.
After 30 minutes, the chances dried up with the Green and White Army trying to apply themselves in the right way defensively.
However, Löw's troops piled more pressure in the last five minutes of the first stanza and the hosts were lucky not to concede more goals going into the break.
Ten minutes into the second half, Martin O'Neill's side started to get a grip of the match with Löw's charges no longer pressing them deep into their own half.
With chances hard to come by in the half, Julian Draxler made way for Leroy Sane in the 75th minute.
Sane had an opportunity to put the game to bed ten minutes from time, but his left-footed strike sailed over the crossbar.
Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich sealed the match in the 86th minute with a volley at the back post, 3-0.
Josh Magennis saved face for the home side, scoring a headed goal from close range in stoppage time to make it 1-3.
