Netherlands returned to winning ways, as they registered a 3-1 win over Bulgaria in a 2018 World Cup qualifier at the Amsterdam Arena.
The hosts broke the deadlock after just seven minutes when Davy Proper fired home from close range, following a cross from Daley Blind.
The visitors nearly leveled matters 10 minutes later when Georgi Kostadinov's towering header crashed against the upright.
Dick Advocaat's continued to dominate as the half went, although they could have extended their lead in the 34th minute but Vincent Janssen fired wide from close range.
The hosts had a couple more chances just before the halftime break, but Janssen and Georginio Wijnaldum squandered good chances in the box.
After a quiet start to the second half when Arjen Robben got his name on the score-sheet by turning home Blind's cross, 2-0.
Bulgaria managed to pull a goal back two minutes later as Kostadinov headed home Ivelin Popov's free-kick.
However, the Netherlands sealed the win in the 80th minute as Propper headed home from close range to complete his second goal.
Advocaat's charges have now leapfrogged Bulgaria into third spot in Group A.
