Goals from Timo Werner and Mats Hummels helped Germany secure a 2-1 win over Czech Republic in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.
The visitors broke the deadlock after four minutes when Timo Werner turned home Mesut Ozil's cross, 0-1.
Czech Republic looked to level matters and they went close in the 16th minute when Marek Suchy forced Marc-Andre Ter Stegen into a fine save.
Both nations did not sit as Germany's Toni Kroos and Czech Republic's Tomas Kalas had threatening efforts at goal after 20-minute mark.
Joshua Kimmich nearly doubled the World Champions' lead in the 35th minute, but he failed to direct his close range effort on target.
The score remained 1-0 at the halftime break.
Czech Republic came out firing in the second half as the likes of Jakub Jankto and Jan Boril had chances in the opening 15 minutes.
Germany then opted for a defensive change after 61 minutes as Antonio Rudiger replaced Julian Brandt.
The hosts leveled matters in the 78th minute courtesy of a strike from Vladimir Darida, who fired home from distance.
However, Germany secured the win in the 88th minute as Mats Hummels headed home Toni Kroos' corner to seal the points.
