Brazil and Colombia had to settle for a share of the spoils, as they played out a 1-1 draw in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.
The game got off to a tense start, and chances were hard to come by in the opening exchanges.
Brazil nearly broke the deadlock in the 17th minute but Edwin Cardona produced a fine block to deny Fernandinho from close range.
Selecao continued to threaten and they went close again in the 29th minute when Roberto Firmino forced David Ospina into a fine save.
Colombia, meanwhile, had a lot of joy down the right flank but they were unable to trouble Alisson for most of the first half.
Brazil eventually took the lead on the stroke of halftime when Neymar teed up Willian, who hammered the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box.
The home side managed to level matters 10 minutes into the second half Santiago Arias' cross was headed home at the far post by Radamel Falcao.
Selecao coach Tite responded by introducing Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus for Firmino in the 64th minute as they looked to restore their lead.
The tempo of the encounter simmered down after 70 minutes which prompted the visitors to introduce Philippe Coutinho in the 75th minute.
Five minutes later, Colombia nearly went ahead through Teofilo Gutierrez, whose deflected sailed inches over the crossbar.
Both sides went in search of a winning goal in the closing stages of the second half, but they were unable to carve out clear-cut chances and had to settle for a point a piece.
