Mohammed Salah's late strike earned Egypt a point, as they drew 1-1 with Nigeria in their 2017 Afcon qualifier.
There were number of European-based stars from both sides, Nigeria boasted the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, John Obi Mikel and Odion Ighalo. While, Mohamed Elneny and Mohamed Salah started for the visitors.
Egypt nearly broke the deadlock after 17th minute when Salah profited from a defensive error, but Nigeria shot-stopper, Carl Ikeme was on hand to deny the AS Roma forward.
Ahmed El-Shennawi came to the visitors' rescue three minutes later, as the Pharaohs shot-stopper produced a fine save to keep out Moses Simon's effort.
Ighalo squandered a glorious chance to hand Nigeria the lead on the stroke of halftime, as the Watford striker failed to convert from six-yards out.
The visitors were nearly gifted the lead in the 53rd minute when Mikel's attempted clearance nearly sailed into his own net but Ikeme was on hand to make the save once again.
However, the deadlock was broken just before the hour-mark, as Oghenekaro Etebo slotted home from close range, after Iheanacho rattled the crossbar.
El-Shennawi had to be at his best in the 73rd minute, as he produced an impressive save to deny Ighalo from close range.
The Egyptians managed to salvage a point in the 90th minute, courtesy of a strike from the in-form Salah.
