Marc-Andre ter Stegen clashed with some ball boys during FC Barcelona's 2-0 defeat to Sevilla at the Ramos Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium on Wednesday night.
Unlike Victor Gomes, though, who sent off a ball boy when Kaizer Chiefs met Cape Town City in 2016, match official Mateu Lahoz did not punish the youths for their antics.
Many former and current players themselves were ball boys on the sidelines when they were young, and probably know the cheeky tricks some of them try today.
Pep Guardiola – one of football's most influential managers on the back of a successful playing career – was known to be a ball boy back in the day. He was once even pictured as youngster behind then Barcelona star Victor Munoz.
Of Guardiola's current team, Phil Foden also has a background as a former ball boy. Back in 2014, he was pictured pitchside watching one of Manchester City's home games, before becoming one of the main protagonists on the pitch himself just seven years later.

Several stars who came through Ajax Amsterdam's youth ranks also have a history as ball boys for the club.
The likes of Donny van de Beek and Matthijs de Ligt were ball boys in their youth, as was Wesley Sneijder. The 2010 FIFA World Cup finalist with the Netherlands was pictured in 1991 as a seven-year-old alongside Ajax legend Frank Rijkaard.
