Coaches have been known to get over passionate on the sidelines and are quick to make their feelings known to the fourth official opposing coach.
Jose Mourinho's time at Real Madrid will always be remembered for his rivalry with Pep Guardiola at Barcelona for three years.
During one El Clasico in 2011, a mini scuffle broke out on the touchline and while no one was looking, Mourinho poked Pep's former assistant Tito Vilanova in the eye, although he was only given a two-match ban.
That was not the only time Mourinho had a scuffle with a rival manager as his public spat with Arsene Wenger reached boiling point in 2014 when the Portuguese was shoved by the Arsenal manager at Stamford Bridge.
Sir Alex Ferguson has also had his fair share of feuds during his illustrious career at Manchester United, but it seems the emergence of Manchester City might have ruffled a few feathers.
During a Premier League encounter in 2012 which United lost 1-0, Ferguson and then City manager Roberto Mancini were embroiled in a heated exchange on the touchline.
