On Wednesday, it was reported that 19-year-old Sancho had signed a new deal with Dortmund, one that would see him earn £195 000 (R3.6 million) a week. The England international's new deal comes on the back of a stellar campaign that saw him record 12 goals and 17 assists in the Bundesliga last season, but it only puts him at 10th in the highest young earners list.
At the top of the pile is new Real Madrid signing Luka Jovic, who reportedly earns an eye-watering sum of £365 000 (R6.7 million) a week. The 21-year-old joined Los Blancos from Eintracht Frankfurt in this transfer window, and is now the world's highest-paid youngster.
Paris Saint-Germain and France superstar Kylian Mbappe comes in at second place, walking away with £325 000 (R6 million) every week. The 20-year-old could well topple Jovic from the top spot in the coming weeks, though, with PSG reportedly set to offer him a new deal to stave off interest from Real.
The top three is completed by Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix, who recently joined the club from Benfica for £113 million (R2 billion). The Portuguese starlet reportedly earns £255 000 (R4.7 million) a week in Madrid.
