Cech, who is widely regarded as the Premier League's greatest-ever goalkeeper, retired from football at the end of last season, whereafter he took up a role as technical and performance adviser with the Blues.
The former Czech Republic shot-stopper took time out of his day job to feature in a match for ice hockey side Guildford Phoenix on Sunday, and saved two penalties to earn the Man of the Match award on his debut.
Fellow 'keepers Santiago Canizares and Jerzy Dudek, the latter of whom was in goal for Liverpool's 2004/05 UEFA Champions League triumph, also traded football for a career elsewhere, with both players taking up motor racing following their respective retirements.
2001 Ballon d'Or winner Michael Owen hung up his boots in 2013, after which he got involved in horse racing. The former England international runs his own stable and even jockeyed in a race himself, coming second at a charity event in 2017.
