Mexico captain, Rafael Marquez, says his side need to stop Neymar when they meet Brazil in their Group A encounter tonight.
Both sides started with a win into the tournament but the former Barcelona man has warned his side of the qualities of Brazil’s attacking trio Neymar, Oscar and Hulk.
"We have to cover, have two against one, be fast and reduce the spaces on the pitch - do not let (Neymar) play," he told Globo.
"It was a good win (against Cameroon) and very important. Against Brazil, it will surely be a very difficult game. We know the talent of Neymar, Oscar, Hulk but we will train in ways to handle them."
Marquez, appearing as skipper at his fourth World Cup finals, has urged his Mexico team-mates to raise to the occasion and upset World Cup hosts, Brazil.
"We have to make the most of this opportunity - it is a showcase for all of us. For many of them it is an opportunity to go up one more level," the 35-year-old added.
"This is something that rarely happens."
Mexico will face Brazil in their Group A clash at 21:00 tonight.
