The LA Galaxy striker will not be representing his country at the World Cup this year, but in recent interviews he has spoken of his excitement to watch the tournament.

Ibrahimovic, who left Manchester United earlier this year, believes that Neymar, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have what it takes to steal the show in Russia.

“I think Neymar, after being injured and coming back, will have a lot of hunger to play and will lift his team and they will push for him,” he said, according to Sport 360.

“I think with Messi, the picture is normal: he is the best and the team follows him. Ronaldo, the same thing. Let’s see what happens.

Ibrahimovic was also asked which player he thinks will hold one’s own at the competition.

“I think Pogba for sure, who everybody knows is fast and skillful,” he added.

Ibrahimovic made just five appearances at the World Cup over two tournaments, where he failed to score a single goal.

Ronaldo is a glorified and selfish cow. He will not shine at the World Cup.

@Tikzoe1 If he didn't miss the penalty he would appear as someone who had a great game. For me he didn't have a bad game, he was tightly marked but he managed to make things happen

So far Messi the one who snubbed Ronaldo is doing badly he was marked and that exposed his weaknesses. Ronaldo is a hard worker and not as big headed as Messi is.
