Germany coach Joachim Low guided Die Mannschaft to the World Cup title in 2014, so it does not surprise many that he is the highest-paid boss in Russia.

The 58-year-old reportedly earns an annual salary of £3.31 million (R55 million), according to the Daily Mirror, topping the ranking ahead of Brazil boss Tite, who is understood to pocket £3.02 million (R50 million) a year.

France manager Didier Deschamps is on the same yearly salary as Tite, while Spain's Julen Lopetegui follows with £2.58 million (R43 million) annually, and Stanislav Cherchesov, coach of hosts Russia, earns £2.21 million (R37 million) a year.

Former South Africa coach Carlos Queiroz, now in charge of Iran, appears in seventh position with a reported annual salary of £1.69 million (R28 million), the same as England boss Gareth Southgate.
