FIFA World Cup, Group E
Teams: Brazil vs Costa Rica
Date: 22 June 2018
Venue: Saint-Petersburg Stadium
The Selecao have lost only one of their 22 games since Tite took over the hot seat, and are among the favourites in Russia. Many thought they would steamroll Switzerland in their Group E opener, but the European side held out for a 1-1 draw.
Switzerland's equaliser was only the sixth goal Brazil conceded in 22 games under Tite, while Neymar struggled to perform at his best.
Costa Rica, meanwhile, were beaten 1-0 by Serbia inn their first match so their tournament hopes could already be over if they were to lose a second game in a row. They are not in great form either, having lost seven of their past nine games.
Both teams have met nine times so far, with Brazil winning all of these clashes and scoring 27 goals at an average of three per game, while conceding just seven strikes.
Selecao boss Tite was forced to make a change to his starting XI after Manchester City right-back Danilo picked up an injury in training. He was replaced by Corinthians' Fagner, who will be making only his fifth appearance for the five-time world champions.
Here is how both teams will line up:
Brazil: Alisson, Fagner, Silva, Miranda, Marcelo, Paulinho, Casemiro, Coutinho, Willian, Gabriel Jesus, Neymar
Costa Rica: Navas, Acosta, Gonzalez, Duarte, Oviedo, Gamboa, Borges, Ruiz, Guzman, Venegas, Urena
