Many players have impressed at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, but a report suggests that Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho could very well be interested in four African stars who have represented their countries on the world’s biggest stage.

Senegal has been one of the standout African teams in Russia, with Sadio Mane and his teammates currently sitting second in Group H. The Lions of Teranga are unbeaten from their first two matches, and will go up against Colombia on Thursday.
Centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly has stood out for Senegal, and according to Manchester Evening News, he might be one of four African players Mourinho considers making a move for in this transfer window.
The 27-year-old Napoli defender has put in two solid displays so far in Russia, and has been hailed for being a rock in the Senegalese backline. The report claims that Mourinho might also be looking at his teammate Moussa Wague.
The 19-year-old right-back became the youngest ever African goalscorer at the World Cup, when he found the back of the net against Japan this past Sunday.
The publication also speculates as to whether Mourinho might be tempted to make a swoop for Nigeria winger Ahmed Musa, who scored twice in his country’s win over Iceland, and looked a constant threat against Argentina.
The last player mentioned as a potential target is Morocco playmaker Hakim Ziyech. The Ajax Amsterdam star showed glimpses of his quality in Russia, but was unfortunately unable to inspire to his team to qualify for the knockout stages from Group B.
