'Paul Pogba Only Cares About His Hair, France Are Nothing Special!'
Denmark manager Age Hareide seems to have started some early mind games, having taken a swipe at Manchester United star Paul Pogba and his national teammates ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The Scandinavian side, whose best finish in the tournament came in the quarter-finals in 2008, have been drawn in Group C alongside Les Bleus, Australia and Peru.
With Pogba expected to be given a key role in Les Bleus' team for the showpiece, the Denmark boss has now claimed the 25-year-old is more worried about his hair than his performances.
"He played against Manchester City with his hair dyed blue and white, maybe he will have it red and white to play us," Hareide told Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten.
"Does he only think about his haircuts?"
The Norwegian also believes his team have nothing to fear when they face the French as he feels they are "nothing special".
"I do not believe in this team," Hareide added.
"The teams at the top of the world rankings are the best in the world, but this is not the case for France.
"I saw France against Sweden in Stockholm. They are nothing special."
The Danes face France on Tuesday, 26 June, at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
