Paul Pogba Hits Out At Critics, Jose Mourinho Praises Frenchman

Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba, who is often the subject of major criticism, has once again responded to his naysayers, while Jose Mourinho gave his opinion on the Frenchman's latest game.

Barca Transfer News: Five In, Five Out?

The 25-year-old has been in good form for Les Bleus at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, especially in the three knockout fixtures they have played so far, against Argentina, Uruguay and Belgium.

Despite his positive displays, Pogba often comes under scrutiny for what he does on and off the field, but the Red Devils star has insisted he will keep trying his best.

"They can criticise me, but they cannot criticise what I do on the pitch," Pogba said, according to the Daily Star.

"I have a love of football in my heart. I always will. If I hear good things or bad things, I will keep fighting.

"Obviously, it (the World Cup) is not done yet. It's a dream. We are going through to the World Cup final – but you have to realise that dream.

"We are winning. It's always nice to win and to hear good things about the team, about yourself and everything.

"But I can improve and get better and better. I wouldn't say that I'm young – but I'm not old yet!

"We are going through nice things right now, so we want to finish it and prove ourselves."

United manager Mourinho, who reportedly fell out with the midfielder last season, was delighted with Pogba's display in France's 1-0 semi-final win over Belgium on Tuesday night.

"A fantastic performance by (France defender) Varane and I think a very good performance by Pogba," he told RT.

"Pogba was mature. He played the game with great maturity. When he had to hold position and keep control of the game he did.

"When Deschamps took off (Olivier) Giroud to bring on (Steven) Nzonzi, then Pogba had more freedom but freedom not to do silly things.

"He had freedom to keep the ball away from the dangerous areas and to assist (Antoine) Griezmann for a great chance.

"He was very, very mature."

For once I agree with the Special Child..........Pogba has matured as a player and will be vital for France in the final.
