Latest FIFA Rankings Announced

World football governing body FIFA have announced the latest world rankings. Find out here which nation sits in the top spot a month before the start of the World Cup.

Defending world champions Germany stayed ahead of Brazil, and will enter the tournament as top ranked nation. The podium is completed by Belgium, who are once again seen as dark horses at the World Cup.

European champions Portugal follow in fourth position, one above Lionel Messi’s Argentina. Switzerland sit in sixth, ahead of 1998 FIFA World Cup winners France and 2010 champs Spain.

Chile are the only side inside the top 10 that has not qualified for Russia, while Poland complete the 10 highest ranked nations.

England sit in 13th place, while Tunisia remain the highest ranked African country in 14th position. South Africa, meanwhile, remained unchanged and stayed in 72nd spot.

spain shoul be no 4 portugal 5 argentine 6 may be out ot 10 not sure they have not been perfoming well
