Amid interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid, France starlet Kylian Mbappe, who was named the Young Player of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, has revealed where his future lies.

The 19-year-old scored in France's 4-2 victory over Croatia in Moscow on Sunday, taking his tournament tally to four goals in seven games.

Mbappe, who recently completed a permanent transfer to Paris Saint-Germain from Monaco, has insisted that he is not leaving the French capital, despite some reports suggesting that he could replace Juventus-bound Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid.

"I will stay with PSG, continuing on my path with them," Mbappe said, as quoted by FourFourTwo.

"I am at the beginning of my career."

The Frenchman had an excellent loan season with the Paris club, scoring 21 goals in 46 appearances in the 2017/18 campaign.

Do you think Mbappe has made the right choice in staying with PSG? Have your say in the comments section below.

@Mpho wa Cosmos You are spot-on, member, Neymar jr. and the young Mbappe cannot compare to the great CR7.........just like CR 7 cannot compare to the GREATEST LM10.

ppll compare Neymer n Mbappe with the great CR7. CR7 is more bold and mentally strong. sometimes he was whistled at but stayed strong. i wonder if the two boys can handle pressure. nice choice for him

There is no replacing the Great CR7. All Madrid can do is get new players, you name them, Hazard, Mbappe, Neymar, Dybala etc. None of these guys can REPLACE CR7. We must just accept, hes moved on, its time for a new erra
