With the 2018 FIFA World Cup just nine days away, we have decided to give you a little guide regarding all the groups of the tournament and their full 23-man squads, starting with Group A.

Click through the mini-gallery above to see a player from each team who is tipped to light up the tournament.

The group stage of the competition will be played between 14 and 25 June 2018, after which two teams will advance to the round of 16.

Group A consists of the host nation Russia, Asian qualifiers Saudi Arabia, African giants Egypt, and pot favourites Uruguay.

First Round Fixtures
