France got their 2018 World Cup campaign off to a positive start as they defeated Australia 2-1, with Manchester United star Paul Pogba netting grabbing the winning goal.
Paul Pogba was included the starting line-up, while Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe lead the attack.
Le Blues dominated the opening exchanges in the first, while the likes of Mbappe and Pogba tested goalkeeper Matt Ryan in the first 10 minutes.

The French enjoyed a lion's share of the possession for most of the first half, but they were unable to carve out another clear-cut opening in the half.
The game sprung into life after 58 minutes when France were awarded a penalty with the help of Video Assistant Referee (VAR). Griezmann, who won the penalty, slotted home to hand his the lead.
Australia were awarded a penalty of their own on hour mark when Samuel Umtiti handled in the box. Mile Jedinak stepped up and made no mistake from the spot, 1-1.
Didier Deschamps responded with a double change after 70 minutes as Olivier Giroud and Nabil Fekir replaced Griezmann and Dembele.
France did restore their lead in the 81st minute as Pogba exchanged passes with his teammate before seeing his shot deflect over the goal line.
The Australians threw numbers forward in the closing stages but France managed to hold out until the final to claim three points.
