Group F winners Sweden will take on Group E runners-up Switzerland in their 2018 FIFA World Cup round of 16 tie on Tuesday afternoon – here is how the teams will line up!
FIFA World Cup, Round of 16
Teams: Sweden vs Switzerland
Date: 3 July 2018
Venue: Saint Petersburg Stadium
Sweden surprised many when they topped Group F, beating Mexico, Korea Republic and 2014 World Cup champions Germany to the No. 1 spot.
Switzerland also impressed in the group stage of the tournament, but will go into the round of 16 tie without two key players in Stephan Lichtsteiner and Fabian Schar, who are both suspended.
For Sweden, injured midfielder Sebastian Larsson will miss the game – even if he had been fit, though, he would have been sidelined due to suspension anyway.
The Swedes head into the tie having kept six clean sheets in their last eight World Cup matches (including qualifiers), while their opponents are unbeaten in 16 of their last 17 games in the tournament (including qualifiers).
Switzerland have not beaten Sweden in the two times they have met on the international stage, although the last time they went head to head was in 2002.
Denis Zakaria, Valon Behrami and Xherdan Shaqiri are all one yellow card away from suspension for the Swiss, while the same follows for Sweden's Albin Ekdal, Viktor Claesson and Mikael Lustig.
How is how the teams will start the match:
Sweden: Olsen, Lustig, Lindleöf, Granqvist, Augustinsson, Claesson, Svensson, Ekdal, Forsberg, Berg, Toivonen
Switzerland: Sommer, Lang, Djourou, Akanji, Rodríguez, Behrami, Xhaka, Shaqiri, Dzemaili, Zuber, Drmic
