Mohamed Salah and Egypt will be looking for their first ever win in FIFA World Cup history when they take on Saudi Arabia in their final Group A match – here is how the teams will line up!
FIFA World Cup, Group A
Teams: Saudi Arabia vs Egypt
Date: 25 June 2018
Venue: Volgograd Arena
There is only pride to play for at the Volgograd Arena on Monday, with both competing teams having already been knocked out of the competition.
Neither side have managed to put a single point on the board up to now, and while Saudi Arabia have failed to score a single goal, Egypt's only strike came from a Salah penalty.
Despite neither team impressing, it is the Pharaohs who head into the clash as favourites for victory, but the Saudis will undoubtedly be determined to get on the scoresheet.
Taiseer Al Jassam will miss the clash for Saudi Arabia after coming off before half-time against Uruguay due to injury, while Egypt seemingly have a full squad to choose from.
The Saudis have scored just twice in their past five games – of which they won none – while their opponents have also not claimed victory in their past five matches.
Manager Juan Antonio Pizzi will be looking to lead Saudi Arabia to their third win in World Cup history, whereas Egypt will be hoping to claim their first ever victory at the tournament.
Here's how the teams line up:
Saudi Arabia: Al Mosailem, Osama Hawsawi, Alburayk, OmarHawsawi, Al Sharahni, Al Faraj, Al Dawsari, Otayf, Al Mohqawi, Bahbri, Al Muwallad
Egypt: El-Hadary, Fathy, Gabr, Hegazi, Abdelshafy, Hamed, Elneny, Elsaid, Salah, Trezeguet, Mohsen
