A midfield star, who represented his country at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, has commented on rumours that he could be joining Jose Mourinho's Manchester United.
Serbia international Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was one of the few bright sparks in his nation's World Cup campaign, but the tournament was not the first time that some of the world's biggest clubs saw him in action.
The 23-year-old has reportedly been closely watched by United, but when asked recently whether or not he could soon leave Lazio, he insisted he has "not thought about it".
"I need a little bit of rest now," he answered, according to the Daily Star.
"I'll return to Rome and I would be happy if I stay at Lazio, as I'm content there and I have a contract.
"I read something different in the papers every day, but I haven't thought about it yet. First, I'll rest for a bit, then we'll see."
Milinkovic-Savic went into the World Cup off the back of a sublime 2017/18 campaign with Lazio, during which he scored 14 goals and assisted a further nine strikes from midfield.
