Cameroon and Croatia meet for the first time in their history at the Arena Amazonia in a Group A clash that both will see as a must win match.
The Indomitable Lions lost their opening game 1-0 to a solitary goal from Mexico’s Oribe Peralta and the African side will hope to bounce back with a win over the Croatians to secure any chance of progressing into the knockout stages.
Volker Finke’s men will go into this must win clash without influential talisman and captain Samuel Eto'o who has been ruled out against Croatia with a knee inury.
Croatia also lost their first game to Brazil, going down 3-1 after taking a shock lead against the hosts.
Luca Modric looks to have recovered in time to take on Cameroon after the Real Madrid midfielder suffered a foot injury in the opener.
Niko Kovac's men will welcome back Mario Mandzukic after the striker was suspended for the Brazil clash, and the coach he can bring some much needed firepower to his side.
