Milan & Everton Advance, Ajax Bow Out

Shkendija 0-1 AC Milan (Milan won 7-0 on aggregate)

AC Milan secured their spot in the group stages of the UEFA Europa League, after overcoming Shkendja 7-0 on aggregate.

Milan had triumphed 6-0 in the first leg at the San Siro, while Patrick Cutrone scored the only goal of the game in the second leg on Thursday evening.

Hajduk Split 1-1 Everton (Everton won 3-1 on aggregate)

Everton booked their spot in the group stage phase of the tournament, following their 1-1 draw on Thursday evening.

Ronald Koeman's charges headed into the encounter, with a two-goal lead from the first leg last week.

Josip Radosevic handed the hosts the lead on the night after 43 minutes, however the Toffess hit back though superb effort from Gylfi Sigurdsson, who beat the goalkeeper from 40-yards out.

Rosenborg 3-2 Ajax Amsterdam (Rosbenborg won 4-2 on aggregate)

Last season's finalists, Ajax Amsterdam failed to make the group stage after losing 3-2 in the second leg on Thursday evening.

A brace from Samuel Adegbenro and a solitary strike from Nicholas Bendtner cancelled out goals from Amin Younes and Lasse Schone as Rosenborg claimed the win and their spot in the group stages.

Fenerbahce 1-2 Vardar (Vardar won 4-1 on aggregate)

Turkish giants, Fenerbahce failed to progress to the group stage phase after they suffered a 2-1 loss at home to Vardar in the second leg.

Athletic Club 1-0  Panathinaikos (Bilbao won 4-2 on aggregate)

Iker Muniain's first-half striker saw Athletic Bilbao claim a 1-0 win over Panathinaikos to advance to the group stages with a 4-2 aggregate win.

Zenit St. Petersburg 2-0 Utrecht (Zenit won 2-1 on aggregate)

Zenit St. Petersburg advanced to the group stage phase, after recording a 2-0 win over Utrecht in the second leg thanks to a brace from Aleksandr Kokorin.
