Los Blancos booked their place in the quarter-finals of the competition after they beat their Ligue 1 opponents 2-1 (5-2 on aggregate) at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night.
After the game, Zidane was asked by members of the media what the situation surrounding Wales international Gareth Bale, who was picked for the bench once again, is.
"He prefers to play more," Zidane answered, as quoted by the Daily Express.
"We have many players. We will continue with what we are all doing. You ask me about a player, but they are all important and I am what I look at, including Gareth.
"He has not played in the first leg or the round, but he will play. He is an important player and will not change."
The 28-year-old has made 27 appearances for the Spanish giants this season, scoring 11 goals and assisting a further seven strikes.
