Pizzi and Carlos Vinicius scored in either half to give Benfica a 2-0 lead but Emil Forsberg bagged a brace in second-half stoppage time to secure a spot in the knockout stage.
Slavia Prague 1-3 Inter Milan
Inter Milan boosted their chances of booking a spot in the round of 16 with a 3-1 win over Slavia Prague thanks to a brace by Lautaro Martinez in Group F at Sinobo Stadium.
In addition to Martinez's brace, Romelu Lukaku also found the net for Inter, while Tomas Soucek scored the lone strike by Slavia from the penalty spot.
Lille 0-2 Ajax Amsterdam
Ajax Amsterdam have their destiny of qualifying in their own hands after a 2-0 victory over Lille at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
Hakim Ziyech and and Quincy Promes scored in each half as Ajax moved two points clear at the top of the pool with ten points, while eliminated Lille remained rock bottom with with only a point after five rounds of matches.
Genk 1-4 RB Salzburg
RB Salzburg kept their hopes alive of qualifying for the knockout stages with a 4-1 drubbing of Genk in Group E at Luminus Arena.
Patson Daka, Takumi Minamino, Hwang Hee-Chan and Erling Haaland were all on target for Salzburg, while Mbwana Samatta got the consolation goal for Genk.
