Borussia Dortmund were in a rampant mood, as they thumped Legia Warsaw 6-0 in their UEFA Champions League opener.
Mario Gotze opened the scoring after seven minutes, before Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Marc Batra made it 3-0 before the break.
Raphael Guerreiro added Dortmund's fourth, while Castro and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang rounded off the scoring.
Lyon 3-0 Dinamo Zagreb
Lyon started their UEFA Champions League campaign with a bang after beating Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 in their first Group H match on Wednesday night.
Goals from Corentin Tolisso, Jordan Ferri and Maxwel Cornet handed Lyon the victory over the Croatian side at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.
Juventus 0-0 Sevilla
In the other UEFA Champions League, Group E game on Wednesday night Juventus and Sevilla played to a goalless draw at the Juventus Stadium.
Lyon top Group E with their win followed by Juventus and Sevilla on one point while Dinamo Zagreb prop-up the standings.
Bayer Leverkusen 2-2 CSKA Moscow
It was a blistering opening half which saw four goals scored as Bayer Leverkusen and CSKA Moscow played to an exciting 2-2 draw in their UEFA Champions League, Group E match at the BayArena on Wednesday night.
Leverkusen started the better of the two sides with goals from Admir Mehmedi and Hakan Calhanoglu handing them a two goal advantage before strikes from Alan Dzagoev and Roman Eremenko levelled matters for CSKA going into the break.
Neither side could find a winner in the second half as the two teams settled for a share of the spoils.
FC Porto 1-1 FC Copenhagen
FC Copenhagen held on for a 1-1 draw against FC Porto despite playing over twenty minutes with ten men in their UEFA Champions League, Group G encounter at the Estádio do Dragão.
Otavinho opened the scoring for FC Porto in the 13th minute before Andreas Cornelius levelled matters in the 52nd minute.
Jan Gregus was sent for an early shower in the 66th minute after receiving a second yellow card.
