Bayern Munich proved too strong for Anderlecht, as they romped to a 3-0 at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday evening.
Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring from the penalty spot in 12th minute, before Thiago Alcantara and Joshua Kimmich rounded off the scoring in the second half.

Sporting Lisbon began their campaign with a win, after they defeated Olympiakos 3-2 at the Stadio Georgios Karaiskáki.
The visitors raced into a three-goal lead in the first half thanks to strikes from Seydou Doumbia, Gelson Martins and Bruno Fernandes.
The hosts sis pull two goals back thanks to a brace from Felipe Pardo, but Sporting managed to hold on for the win.

CSKA Moscow came from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Benfica in their opening Group A clash.
Haris Seferovic opened the scoring for the hosts in the 50th minute, before Vitinho and Timur Zhamaletdinov secured the win for the Russian outfit.
