Atletico Madrid will be out for revenge when they travel to Real, while Cristiano Ronaldo will be keen to add to his record tally – here is how the two teams line up.
UEFA Champions League
Teams: Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid
Venue: Santiago Bernabeu
Date: 2 May 2017
The Portuguese netted his 100th UEFA Champions League goal to help his side eliminate Bayern Munich in the quarter-final.
He was also on the scoresheet during Los Blancos' 2-1 win over Valencia on the weekend, extending Real's run of scoring at least once to 58 games. They last failed to score in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Manchester City a year ago.
This encounter will be the fifth European two-legged tie between the two sides, with Real winning the previous four contests so far.
It was Los Blancos who eliminated Atletico from the competition in the past three consecutive seasons, beating them 4-1 in extra-time in the 2013/14 final, eliminating them 1-0 on aggregate in the 2014/15 quarter-finals, and again beating them in the final last year, via penalties.
However, the Rojiblancos are 15 matches unbeaten away from home and, considering the fact that Real have only kept one clean sheet in their past 16 games across all competitions, Diego Simeone's men will be confident they can score an important away goal or two.
Here's how they line up:
Real: Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Casemiro, Kroos, Modric; Isco, Ronaldo, Benzema.
Atletico: Oblak; Savic, Lucas, Godin, Luis; Gabi, Saul, Koke, Carrasco; Griezmann, Gameiro.
