PSG March On With Comfortable Win

UEFA Champions League
Result: Shakhtar 0-3 PSG
Date: 30 September 2015
Venue: L'viv Arena
Paris Saint-Germain claimed their second consecutive Champions League group stage win on Wednesday with a 3-0 result at Shakhtar.
After a few early misses, Serge Aurier finally found the back of the hosts' net in the seventh minute. Maxwell's cross into the area was weighted perfectly for Aurier to run onto and head home for his first Champions League goal.
The Parisians were running rampant when Zlatan Ibrahimovic almost made it 2-0 in the 21st minute. Aurier crossed towards the far post but the Swedish striker sent his header just wide of the post.
Two minutes later, PSG were two goals ahead anyway. Aurier flicked on Angel Di Maria's corner and it came off David Luiz who sent it floating into the back of the net unintentionally.
Shakhtar had a handful of great opportunities to get themselves back into the game just before the break. Teixeira's initial shot was kept out and the rebound fell for Gladkiy who couldn't get an effort away. The ball then fell for Srna and Taison but both of their shots were blocked before Kucher put his effort over as PSG survived.
The victory was well and truly secured in stoppage time as Darijo Srna netted the visitors' third of the night. Ibrahimovic's strike took a wicked deflection off Srna to find the back of the net.
