African star Sadio Mane was in fine form as he netted a hat-trick to inspire Liverpool to a 5-0 win over FC Porto in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 tie.
Porto went close to breaking the deadlock on 11 minutes as Otavio's shot took a deflection and sailed inches over the crossbar.
After a quiet opening, the Reds eventually broke the deadlock on 26 minutes courtesy of Sadio Mane's sweetly-struck finish in the box.
It was 2-0 three minutes later, when Salah slotted home from close range with a clinical finish after James Milner's initial shot struck the upright.
Porto, meanwhile, barely threatened the Reds defence for the rest of the first stanza, as the visitors went into the break with a two-goal cushion.
Liverpool continued from where they left off in the second half and bagged a third goal in the 55th minute thanks to Mane's second goal of the night.
In the 69th minute, Liverpool extended their advantage with Roberto Firmino getting on the scoresheet, 0-4.
With the Reds comfortably leading, Klopp introduced Joe Gomez and Danny Ings for the final 10 minutes of the half.
Mane completed his hat-trick with five minutes remaining with an impressive finish to round off a sensational away win, 0-5.
