Juventus 1-0 Valencica
Juventus sealed their spot in round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League after defeating Valencia 1-0 on Tuesday evening.
The Old Lady were looking to return to winning ways after suffering a defeat to Manchester United in Turin before the international break.
The first half surprisingly lacked clear cut chances, although Wojciech Szczesny produced a stunning save on the stroke of halftime to keep out Mouctar Diakhaby's header.
However, the Old Lady broke the deadlock in the 58th minute as Cristiano Ronaldo created some space for himself before firing the ball across the face of goal for Mario Mandzukic to tap home.
Neither side could get another goal in the remaining stages of the half as Mandzukic's strike did the trick for the Serie A champions.
Manchester United 1-0 Young Boys
Manchester United secured their passage to the last 16 after scraping past Young Boys at Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho opted leave the likes of Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Juan Mata on the bench, while Alexis Sanchez was not even included in the squad.
It proved to be a frustrating opening 45 minutes for the home sid and in particuarly Marcus Rashford, who was let down by his finish, much to the disappointment of Mourinho.
United goalkeeper David de Gea, meanwhile, endured an extremly quiet first half as Young Boys failed to register an effort on target.
With United struggling to carve out chances, Mourinho eventually introduced Pogba and Lukaku for Jesse Lingard and Fred after the hour mark.
The Red Devils had to wait until the second-half stoppage time for the winning goal, as Lukaku's flick-on found Marouane Fellaini, who controlled well before firing into the bottom corner.
