Serie A giants AC Milan have been banned from competing in the UEFA competitions for two years.
Milan will not be competing in continental competitons for the next two yeas after breaching UEFA club licensing and financial fair play regulations!
A statement from UEFA read,The Judicial Chamber of the Financial Control Body for Club (CFCB), chaired by José Narciso da Cunha Rodrigues, took a decision on the AC Milan case following the referral of the CFCB investigative room manager for the violation of fair play rules financial, in particular for the violation of the break-even rule.
The club will not be able to participate in the next UEFA club competition which it is qualified for in the next two (2) seasons (eg: only one competition in the 2018/19 season or the 2019/20 season, in the event of a qualification).
Against this decision, it is possible to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, according to Article 34 (2) of the procedural regulation governing the UEFA Club Supervisory Body, and according to Articles 62 and 63 of the UEFA Statutes.
