Nigeria international Dennis got his Champions League account up and running with a brace against Los Blancos, but the 21-year-old still has some way to go before he breaks into the top 10 African goalscorers in the tournament proper.
Chelsea legend Didier Drogba tops the list with 44 goals, which is also the 13th most in the competition's history by a player from any nation. The former Ivory Coast international also featured in the UCL with Marseille and Galatasaray, but enjoyed his greatest success with the Blues, with whom he won the 2011/12 title.

Drogba is followed in second place by former FC Barcelona hitman Samuel Eto'o, who plundered 30 goals in the Champions League. Cameroon's all-time leading goalscorer lifted the trophy on three separate occasions, doing so twice with Barca and once during his time with Inter Milan.
Liverpool and Egypt star Mohamed Salah is in third place with 18 goals to his name, while Reds teammate Sadio Mane is three places behind on 14 strikes. Both players were part of the squad that won the 2018/19 title after beating Tottenham Hotspur in the final.
