Arsenal are hoping to turn around their poor run of form in the UEFA Champions League as they host Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.
The Gunners have never before lost both of their opening group stage fixtures and could see themselves on the brink of elimination if they do not pick up points tonight.
Bayern's recent form at the Emirates has been good, as they won their last two visits to London - the last back in the 2013/14 season.
The London side has won only one of their four home games against the Bavarian giants, the last a 1-0 success in the 2004/05 round of 16.
The 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in last season's group stage ended Arsenal's four-game losing run at home to German opposition. Their home record against German clubs is 10 wins, one draw and five losses .
Bayern have a very good record in England and managed to win three out of their last five matches on English soil.
To top it off, Bayern have scored eight goals with no reply in their first two Champions League fixtures - they beat Olympiacos 3-0 and then smashed Dinamo Zagreb 5-0 at home.
In team’s news, Arsenal will be without Jack Wilshere, David Ospina, Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini, Tomas Rosicky and Danny Welbeck.
Bayern have their own injuries and will be missing Holger Badstuber, Mehdi Benatia, Arjen Robben, Mario Götze, Sebastian Rode and Franck Ribéry.
Here is how the two teams will line-up
Arsenal: Čech, Bellerín, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Alexis, Özil Ramsey, Walcott.
Bayern Munich: Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Alaba, Bernat; Alonso, Vidal, Thiago Alcantara; Muller, Douglas Costa, Lewandowski.
