The Ligue 1 giants face reigning European champions Real Madrid on Wednesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu and are said to be keen on getting one over the Spaniards in the round of 16 clash.
Talking ahead of his side's match with Los Blancos, Neymar claimed that PSG and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have become serious threats to those teams who have a rich history in the competition.
“I think ourselves and Manchester City need to be taken very seriously," he said, as quoted by Daily Mirror.
“There are similarities between PSG and Manchester City - they might not have the history in the Champions League of the others - but they are both projects that have that ambition to win and create history.
“You have the teams like Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern who have a rich history in the competition and they will be among the favourites this year."

The 26-year-old has six appearances in the Champions League this season, scoring six and assisting in a further four more.
