The French giants begin their 2021/22 Champions League season with an away match against Club Brugge, in which PSG's new attacking trio is expected to start together for the first time.
Since his exciting arrival in the French capital, Messi has featured just once after he came on as a substitute in their Ligue 1 victory over Stade Reims towards the end of August.
In that game, the 34-year-old Argentine replaced Neymar, although he did get to spend more than 20 minutes on the field with Mbappe, whose future at the time was uncertain.
Ahead of the match against Brugge on Wednesday, it is believed that manager Mauricio Pochettino will select his high-profile front three together as he looks to get his team off to a good start in Europe.
Speaking in the build-up to the game on Tuesday, the manager admitted it is a real possibility fans will get to see Messi, Neymar and Mbappe start together.
"Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, together? I join this collective excitement, I'm like everyone else, I would be crazy not to want to see them play together," Pochettino said at a press conference, according to Firstpost.
"Will we see them together tomorrow? Maybe, yes."
