The 18-year-old scored PSG's solitary goal as the French giants were beaten 3-1 in Munich on Tuesday night.
It was Mbappe's fourth Champions League goal for PSG this season – overall, he has now scored 10 goals in the competition after netting six for Monaco in his debut campaign.
In so doing, the French starlet became the youngest player to reach 10 goals in the Champions League, according to Opta Sports.
Mbappe netted his 10th goal in the competition at the age of 18 years 11 months and 15 days, breaking the previous record held by Karim Benzema, who scored his 10th UCL goal aged 20 years 10 months and two days.
The 2017 Golden Boy winner even scored his first 10 Champions League goals quicker than Lionel Messi, who was 21 years three months and seven days old when he reached this milestone.
Despite the defeat and both teams finishing the group stage on 15 points, PSG qualified as group winners for the knockout stages after beating Bayern 3-0 in the reverse fixture.
