Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas has revealed what happened when he came face to face with former boss Jose Mourinho following Porto's UEFA Champions League win over Chelsea.
Casillas, who made a record 152nd appearance in the European competition on Tuesday night, said he and Mourinho shook hands in Porto, and insisted that he won’t live in the past.
"I'm not happy because I beat Mourinho, I'm happy because I won with the team," he told the press.
"I greeted Mourinho. Shaking hands is the gentlemanly thing to go.
"So much time has passed. If we see each other, we greet each other.
"It's best not to live in the past, I don't do that.”
The pair infamously had a fallout a few years ago after Mourinho dropped the Spanish keeper when the Portuguese manager was in charge of Los Blancos.
Mourinho reportedly believed Casillas had leaked inside information to the public, which the goalkeeper strongly refuted.
Casillas has played eight times for his new club this season, and has kept three clean sheets.
