Former Real Madrid star Iker Casillas has broken a UEFA Champions League record previously held by a Manchester United legend.
Casillas' appearance for FC Porto against Schalke on Tuesday ensured that he has now featured in 20 Champions League seasons, a new record according to Opta Sports.
The 2010 FIFA World Cup winner has now surpassed United legend Ryan Giggs, who appeared in 19 UCL campaigns.
The 37-year-old lifted the Champions League title on three occasions with Los Blancos, the last of which came in the 2013/14 campaign.
Casillas has played six games for Porto so far this season, conceding seven goals along the way.
