Dani Alves: How Paris Saint-Germain Can Knock Real Madrid Out Of The UEFA Champions League
Former FC Barcelona star Dani Alves has explained what he thinks Paris Saint-Germain need to do to knock Real Madrid out of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Ligue 1 side currently has a 3-1 deficit to overturn, and things will not be easy for them as they will face the Spanish giants without their superstar Neymar.
Alves has claimed that the first-leg loss taught Les Parisiens a lot about themselves, and insisted they now know what they will need to do to get over the line.
"We lacked experience because we had the game under control," the Brazilian said, as quoted by Sport.
"Against an opponent of this level, you can never relax. We had 80 incredible minutes but they overcame us in 10. To go far in this competition, you have to play 95 perfect minutes.
"We have to be focused on our objective and have to be conscious that we cannot leave anything for them because they're opponents of a very high level. There's no choice, we have to give it all."
The Selecao star also called on PSG fans to come out in full support as he believes they could help drive the team forward.
"An incredible atmosphere will not be enough if we don't do our work on the pitch, although it will be important," Alves added.
"The fans give us strength, we will try and win it for them. They are behind us and we have to be there too. We have to show we are impossible to handle in our stadium."
The 34-year-old has made 31 appearances for the French side so far this season, scoring four goals and assisting a further seven strikes.
