Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s record scoring streak in the UEFA Champions League ended, but that didn’t stop him from setting another all-time milestone, with Lionel Messi far behind him.

The 33-year-old didn’t score in his side’s 2-1 win at Bayern Munich, ending his streak of scoring in 10 successive games in the competition.
Despite failing to find the back of the net for the first time in the competition this season, Ronaldo recorded his 96th win in the competition – more than any other player in Champions League history, as Sky Sports Statto pointed out.
Ronaldo overtook his former teammate Iker Casillas, who sits with 95 wins in scond place, while ex-FC Barcelona captain Xavi Hernandez completes the podium with 91 wins.
Legendary Real Madrid striker Raul Gonzalez and Barca’s Andres Iniesta follow with 79 wins in joint-fourth spot, and Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs appears in sixth position with 74 wins.
Ronaldo’s long-standing rival Messi completes the players with most won games in the competition, having recorded 73 wins the Champions League so far.
